Translating properly
is a tricky business. It’s so much more than just replacing
a word in one language by that in the other. You have to take into
account both the target and the source culture, the target group,
objective of the text, etc, etc. This is especially true when writing
in English as there are so many synonyms and subtleties only a native
speaker can truly understand. We’ve been translating for almost two decades here at EnglishWorks and we believe we’ve pretty much got it down to a tee by now. We’ll translate from Dutch or German in-house. For other languages we work with a network of native speakers. We also check all documents for accuracy, flow and target group suitability. Having a single point of call makes your life easier. We specialise in creating English-language texts only and are not a full-service translation agency. We do not use translation machines. This means that we can guarantee the quality of our output. Your message will only reach your audience as you intend with the native, human touch. |
